The five questions people Google the most.

In honor of their 15th “birthday”, Google Trends(ya know, the section that keeps track of all the citizens in the US and reports on their searches to the government) revealed the five questions that people have searched for the most in the past decade & a half.

And I’m shocked at the number one result. With watches and phones and tablets and laptops and clocks and DVRs and every other kind of digital device that tells time, why would you EVER need to Google “What time is it”????

But, that’s the number one result over the last fifteen years.

The rest of the top five are:

  • How to tie a tie
  • How to kiss
  • Where am I
  • How many ounces in a cup

Out of all the top five, I’ve probably Googled “How many ounces in a cup” the most. Conversions in measurement are always tough to remember.

But I’ve definitely NEVER Googled “How to kiss” or “Where am I”.
