I hate roundabouts.
Actually, that’s not true.
I hate roundabouts that aren’t necessary. Like many of the ones here in La Crosse.
Shoving a roundabout into a four-way intersection of a small neighborhood is just dumb and wasteful. Roundabouts are intended to slow traffic, help eliminate collisions, and add safety to BUSY roads.
NOT in a city neighborhood that sees very light traffic.
If I were to ever become Mayor, that’d be something I’d look into changing.
Plus, people apparently don’t know how to properly use a roundabout.
Just look at the idiots in Northeastern Kentucky who just discovered this new-fangled creation!
