This past weekend, I spent more time at the La Crosse Center than I did at my house.
Wife & I went down there on Saturday for the Winter Roots Festival & enjoyed some great food, beverages & great live tunes from a bunch of incredibly talented musicians.
On Sunday, we went back down there to check out the La Crosse Boat, Sports, Travel, RV & Hunting Show. The wife & I have always talked about getting a camper, and there were PLENTY of beautiful trailers from Kunes RV.
When I was a kid, my family camped every summer at Westward Shores on Ossippee Lake. We started out with a very small pop-up camper, and eventually we ended up in a park model. I loved going camping as a kid. Some of my best memories are from the years spent on the lake. Swimming, boating, tubing, fishing, kissing my first girl, playing video games in the rec hall, riding bikes. It was great.
Even though we don’t have kids, I’d love to spend my weekends at a campground again….grilling out, enjoying the relaxation of being on the water.
