Pints with Puck goes with seltzer. FRUIT seltzer. New Belgium is pretty fantastic at making beer, so it makes sense that they’d make good seltzer too… and they DO! New Belgium Fruit Smash Hard Seltzer is made with REAL Fruit Juice. What that means is real flavor!
I like club soda (aka seltzer). So, it would seem automatic that I’d like hard seltzers. Not necessarily true. Most hard seltzers, are not really my bag. Most have that diet-y, artificial sweetener, or just a downright fake taste.
Fruit Smash Hard Seltzer doesn’t have that. You could just take my word for it, or you could listen to me and Claire from New Belgium discuss the goodness that is Fruit Smash. Listen:
Try the mixed 12-packs. Tropical Punch is my fav. Pink Lemonade is solid. Berry Blast has a crisp flavor that reminds me of rose’. Not to mention that’s a pretty solid offer. Look for the rebates at your favorite beer store. Although, you’ll find the Fruit Smash in the seltzer section (NOT next to Fat Tire)
I should also mention that Claire was totally on it with giving me a hard time. The ABV is 4.7 so you can definitely have a couple of them… without having to worry about being 8-percented into oblivion.
