Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend

After a busy but fun 4th of July weekend, I’m right back at it this weekend with a Rock Stop this afternoon at Features in West Salem with Twisted Tea, then the wife & I are heading to the Dells on Saturday to catch Kovalence & Pat McCurdy at Fawn Creek Winery, followed by some Royal Bliss & Molly Hatchet at the Crystal Grand!!!!

VERY excited for some live tunes, beers & good food!

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

Tonight, get to the Driftless Axe & Arcade in downtown La Crosse for some axe-throwing & karaoke! They’ve got karaoke EVERY Friday night at the Driftless Arcade starting at 9pm and you can even get a free brown bag with your $5 40oz beer!

On Saturday, get up & get your chores & errands out of the way early so you can head to Chaseburg for the Chaseburg Sole Burner Chicken-Q & bake sale! The drive-thru event goes from 11am until 2pm or when the chicken runs out, and it raises money for the American Cancer Society Sole Burner of Chaseburg event occurring on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Saturday night, if you’re looking for some awesome live tunes & some incredible food, get to Saxon Hall in Brownsville for the Shufflin’ Duprees!

They’re playing from 7pm until 10pm & if you haven’t had a calzone at Saxon Hall yet, here’s your chance!

On Sunday, there will be a celebration of life for Downtown Freddie Brown at Pettibone Resort from 1-6pm, with food, drinks & live music from the Blue Olives.

I’ll see you there!

As always, there’s a BUNCH of other events happening in the area this weekend & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
