I’m a big fan of movies and nudity!
It’s been interesting to watch the changes in mainstream cinema over the last 35 years that I’ve been watching films.
Now, there’s a new documentary called “Skin: A History of Nudity in the Movies” coming out this August.
And, no, it’s not just a bunch of smut.
It starts way back in the day with silent movies and delves into the morality & changes in our culture that lead to the use of nudity in films.
There are interviews with Kevin Smith, Amy Heckerling, Shannon Elizabeth, Pam Grier and many others, including our old buddy, Mr. Skin!
As the gentleman at the beginning of the trailer says, “Twenty minutes after they invented film, somebody started photographing naked people.”
