Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.

The decent weather is going to continue this weekend & I’m tempted to take the Harley out for a spin, but there is SOOOOOOOO much sand on the roads still.

Definitely going to be spending some time in the backyard picking up dog shit.

Yay!

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

FRIDAY – PAT MCCURDY @ THE ROY L. VINGERS AMERICAN LEGION POST #52

Wisconsin legend, Pat McCurdy, is making his first appearance at the Roy L. Vingers American Legion Post #52 this Friday for “Canadian Tuxedo Night”!!

It’s been a few years since we did the denim-themed “Canadian Tuxedo Night”, so we thought it was time to bring it back. On Groundhog’s Day, no less!

Make sure you come to the show decked from head to toe in denim!!!

Pat will be performing all your favorites, like “Monkey Paw”, “Knock Things Over”, and of course, “Sex & Beer”!

Show starts at 7pm and there’s a $5 cover charge, but get to the Legion early for a few cocktails & a bite to eat!

SATURDAY MORNING – PANCAKE BREAKFAST @ THE STODDARD AMERICAN LEGION

Saturday morning, take the short drive to Stoddard for a pancake breakfast to benefit the Freedom Honor Flight!

The Stoddard American Legion Post 315 will be serving pancakes, eggs, sausage, & juice from 7:30am until 10:30am. It’s a free-will offering, so come hungry & pay what you can afford.

SUNDAY – CAJUN FEST @ LEO & LEONA’S

Do you like Jambalaya? How about some red beans with andouille sausage & rice? Maybe some corn maque choux with cornbread????

Then you need to get to the annual Cajun Buffet at Leo & Leona’s on #SundayFunday! They’ll be serving food from 11am until 1pm with live music from Copper Box starting at 2pm

They are GREAT!

It’s $15 per person for a wonderful day of food, music, drinks & fun!
