Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

Last weekend, I spent a lot of time in bars, breweries, & restaurants. A portion of my weekend was spent at Riverfest, and I even spent a bit of time in our patio pool.

This weekend, I’ll be a bit busy with a Rock Stop later today at Bennett O’Riley’s South from 4pm until 5:35pm with Twisted Tea, and another Rock Stop on Sunday at Hunter’s Last Chance in West Salem from noon until 1:35pm. For a full list of the remaining Rock Stops, click here.

In between, I’m sure the wife & I will start to gather our stuff for Rock Fest as we’ll be leaving on Tuesday afternoon for Cadott.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

FRIDAY: RIVER CITY CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING’S FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT AT THE ROY L. VINGERS AMERICAN LEGION POST #52

Crazy to think that RCCW has been around for NINE years! And they want to say “thank you” to all their fans with a $5 show this Friday night at the Roy L. Vingers American Legion Post #52 in La Crosse.

If you missed their performances in the sun & heat at RiverFest last weekend, here’s your chance to check them out indoors and for just five bucks! No reserved seats. First come, first served.

They’ve got a lot of wrestling lined up including a battle royal with the winner taking on Chris Black! The City of La Crosse Championship is on the line between Avalon & Arsenal. Valhalla Rising will take on the Carribean Connection in a tag-team match, and more.

As always, the card is subject to change, and you can find more info on this event here.

SATURDAY – MUSIC ON THE MOUNTAIN @ MOUNT LA CROSSE

Wife & I went to this last year & had a blast!

This year, they’ve got live music from Knee High July, Rustic Moon, & One Way Traffic at Mount La Crosse! Plus, food trucks & beverages right at the base of the ski hill!

This event gets started at 2pm, and you can buy tickets online here for just $25 in advance, or pay $30 at the door. It’s also rain or shine, and it’s outdoors! So, check the weather forecast before you head to Mount La Crosse & bring your camping chair! Also, NO DOGS allowed!

Find more info on this event here.

SUNDAY – BEER GARDEN OPENER @ ECKER’S APPLE FARM

Ecker’s Apple Farm has quickly become one of my favorite places to go!

They’ve got an amazing set-up in the back with a wonderful stage for live music, a really good selection of local craft beers, and they’re always hosting cool events with food trucks & lots of fun!

This Sunday is their beer garden opener & it starts at 4pm with live tunes from Andy Hughes, and my boy, Tommy-Babs from the Woodshed Mobile wood-fired pizza will be serving up the ‘za!

This family friendly event starts at 4pm, and is open to everyone! Find more info here.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area this weekend and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
