The one with a short week

A very short week after a nice holiday weekend. We started things off on Wednesday with a 4th of July wrap-up, and another “Karen of the Day“. This time, she’s getting off a flight because one of the other passengers is apparently NOT a real person.

We also played some great audio from a driving lesson gone bad! And even though he only watched a couple of Harrison Ford films over the holiday weekend, Shaw was able to ace this week’s edition of “You’re Killin’ Me, Shaws”.

On our Wednesday edition of Bad News with Happy Music, we had stories about a couple of babysitters in Florida who stole a car & drove the kids to Wisconsin, a woman who was killed by a man on a stolen forklift, that viral shark video from the past weekend, and a guy who shotgunned a Twisted Tea with a little help from an alligator.

On Thursday, we had a great story about a 90-year old Texas woman who recently retired after NEVER missing a day of work in 74 years at the SAME store!!! We also discussed the new Tik Tok challenge inspired by the upcoming “Barbie” movie, and we discovered a subtle sign that we’re getting old!

We talked about people having sex in the quiet rooms at Wimbeldon, and during our Thursday edition of “Bad News with Happy Music”, we had stories about a Bose speaker recall, a 7-11 employee that threw a full Big Gulp at a woman’s head, a drunk guy on a plane that stabbed another passenger with a broken wine bottle, and a new service that allows you to rent clothes.

On Friday, we got an update about that “Karen of the Day” earlier in the week thanks to the one & only Carrot Top, and we hooked you up with a new list of things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!
