What. A. Bus. Trip!

GO! PACK! GO!
First of all, I want to apologize for not taking very many pictures at yesterday’s Packers/Cowboys game. The place was absolutely packed as always, which didn’t bode well for holding a beer AND my phone. Additionally, in case you missed it, this was a damn good game from start to finish. So having my phone out for pictures wasn’t a priority while the team I’ve spent my life cheering for was on the field in a nail-biter of a game.

We hopped on the bus in La Crosse as always, and off to Lambeau we went. I do have to give a shout out to the nice couple who brought a meat and cheese platter for all of us to snack on in the bus. Doesn’t matter if you’re a Packer fan or a Cowboy fan, this is still Wisconsin, and a meat and cheese tray always comes in clutch. Big thanks.

Pulling into Lambeau always gives me goosebumps. And upon getting off the bus, my best friend and I shot straight to the merch tables. I feel like everyone should be entitled to one stupid purchase. Mine was a big cheese chain. It’s amazingly tacky.

After that we had a little pregame tailgate party at the Resch Center. It’s standard on any of our bus trips to Lambeau. Free food and drinks is a plus anywhere, but especially before a Packer game. From there it was off to the shrine for our Armed Forces. This was the Veteran’s Day game, after all. Albeit, belated by a couple of days. I swung by the spire dedicated to the Navy, where my grandfather served our country in World War 2. Every time I do this, it feels like I’m bringing my hero into the game with me.

This beer’s for you, grandpa.

From here, it was inside for the game. Didn’t really take any pictures of the action. Again, we were packed in like sardines and it was inconvenient to even have my phone out of my pocket. But it’s not like you need to see any pictures of Lambeau to coax you into a game. Chances are, you are already well aware of the appeal of this magical place. If you’re a fan, and you’ve never been, go. That is all.
One thing I did pull my phone out for was a high school quarterback challenge. I felt I had to snap a few pics because one of the kids, to my surprise, was from my alma mater, Wisconsin Dells. Go Chiefs!

Going into the game, I was all but sure we were gonna lose. We’ve been riding a 5 game skid, and Dallas are actually good this year for a change. I was just hoping to not witness a massacre. Boy did I ever get my wish. The game was close from the opening whistle, until Crosby’s kick sent us on to victory.

If you’ve never taken one of our bus trips to a game, be it Packers, Badgers, Bucks, or Brewers, you really need to. Check out RadioStuffStore.com right now to see our current bus trips available. I believe one Packer game is left against the Lions, and 2 Bucks buses are taking off in December and February.

Lastly, bit shout out to Dan, our bus driver. He’s always done solid work getting us around to games and concert trips. He’s and A+ dude who does A+ work, always getting us there and back while making pretty damn good time. We love him, and he practically works for us as we always ask for him by name if he’s at all available.
