Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

An absolutely BE-A-UTIFUL weekend in front of us! Mid-to-upper 70’s on Friday, low 80’s on Saturday & Sunday!

Gorgeous.

Planning on hitting the new Ramen spot in Sparta(Matsumoto Ramen House) on Friday night for dinner & an evening ride on the new Harley. Working a bit on Saturday with the Rock Stop in the afternoon at Doggie Zen & Den in Holmen, and hoping to put more miles on the bike on #SundayFunday!

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

Starting today & running through Sunday, it’s the 3rd Annual Deecefest at Bluebird Campground!

Enjoy live music, food, drinks, vendors, camping & more! Tunes all weekend from bands like TUGG, The White Iron Band, Flibbertijibbet, Abbey Lane, the Kyle Renfro Trio and MANY more(Including a few performances by the man himself, CHEECH!). See the full lineup & schedule here.

Tickets for the entire three-day event are just $50 and can be purchased online or at both Tree Huggers Co-op locations, Cannabiz Depot, Instrument Repair of La Crosse or at Bluebird Campground.

Find more info here.

On Saturday morning, it’s gonna be an amazing day for a ride, so get to Rod’s Ride-On Powersports for the 20th Annual Chad Erickson Memorial Thunder Ride for Juvenile Diabetes. Registration/Check-in starts at 8:30am with kickstands up at 10am.

Registration is just $30 and open to motorcyclists, classic cars & convertibles! The post-ride party is at Timmer’s 10 Mile Pub with prizes, food, drinks and a raffle for a brand new, 2022 Kawasaki Mule side-by-side UTV.

You can find more info on this year’s Thunder Ride here.

On Saturday night, it’s going to be a good time for some fast cars going in circles! Get to the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway for a night filled with racing action!

Tickets start at just $4 for kids aged 6-11, up to $34 for a full family. Food, drinks, the 50/50 & NASCAR Kwik Trip Late Models, LawnKeepers Sportsmen, Ant’s Complete Pest Control Hornets, Auto Value Hobby Stocks, Auto Value 6 Shooters, and the High School Racing Association! Buy them online here.

Gates open at 5:30pm, qualifying 5:30pm, and racing begins at 7:00pm! Find more info here.

On #SundayFunday, please find time to get to All-Star Banquet Hall for the Benefit for Cassidy Elsen from 11am until 5pm.

Fifteen year old Cassidy Elsen has Leukodystrophy, a rare, terminal brain disease.

Leukodystrophy is also known as Vanishing White Matter(VWM) is a progressive neurological deterioration of the white matter that destroys the brain’s white matter and there is no treatment.

There will be food and refreshments, a live and silent auction, bake sale, activities for the kids and adults and much more.

If you can help in any way possible by attending, donating items, other activities or with monetary donations it would be greatly appreciated.
