Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

Weather is going to be a bit “iffy” this weekend with some possible rain, and temps in the upper 70’s to mid 80’s.

After missing a week with the ‘Vid, I’ve gotta pick up some slack this weekend with a couple of Rock Stops on Friday at the State Room in downtown La Crosse with Twisted Tea, and one on Saturday at Hilltop Bar & Grill in Holmen. Hopefully I’ll see you stop by & sign up for the bike!

On #SundayFunday, looking at going to the Lumberyard for the Logger game.

If you’re looking for something to do in the area this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

TONIGHT!!!!!!!! Stop by the Arterial Bar & Grill for their 2nd Anniversary/Birthday Bash with Odell Brewing Co. from 6-9pm. Get there early for a seat & something to nosh, and grab a beer from their ever-changing list. Odell will have their Mountain Standard IPA, and the new Peach Stand Rambler Blonde Ale. Plus, the Sippin’ Pretty Lemonade Sour in can form!

Find more info here.

On Saturday, kickstands up at 10am for the 10th Annual Fire & Iron Station 131 Burn Camp Ride! Registration for the ride starts at 9am at the West Salem American Legion, and the ride leaves at 10am. It’s $20 per person & you’ll get the ride, a shirt, a commemorative pin & a chance to win some kick-ass prizes!

This ride is open to ALL vehicles, and they also have the Redneck Express following the ride in case you’d rather have a few drinks along the route. The ride finishes up where it started, at the West Salem American Legion with food available for purchase, along with raffles, a 50/50, tip boards & more.

All the proceeds from this event go to the Summer Camp for burn-injured youth at Camp Timber-Lee in East Troy, WI.

Find all the info HERE.

Also on Saturday, there’s a Celebration of Life for Tom Young at Del’s Bar from 3-8pm. Tom was the longtime owner of Del’s Bar & passed away in February at the age of 69. Del’s is a La Crosse institution, famous for it’s Bloody Mary’s.

Appetizer food will be provided while it lasts, and guests are asked to bring great memories of Tom & Del’s Bar along with stories to share!

Find more info here.

On #SundayFunday, get to Fathead Steve’s in downtown La Crosse for incredible food, ice cold drinks, and live tunes from Cass Magpie of The Lavender Project & Echo Black River.

Cass plays from 4-7pm & you can find more info here.

As always, there’s plenty of other events happening in the area this weekend & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for FREE here.
