I’ve been a Playstation guy from the beginning, starting with the OG PSOne. In that time, I’ve enjoyed a lot of Sony’s exclusive games like Spider-Man, Infamous, and God of War.
XBox has always had it’s exclusives, some of which I’ve had my eyes on and was a fair bit jealous for not getting to play, but none have ever made me consider coughing up the extra money for a whole other system.
That is, until now.
I knew this day was coming, as it’s old news by now that Microsoft got their hands on Bethesda, makers of some of my favorite franchises like Elder Scrolls and Fallout. The likelihood that those games become XBox exclusives seems to be met with mixed opinions. But a new game of theirs is definitively going to be an XBox exclusive.
I’m talking about, of course, Starfield.
The best way I can describe it is Skyrim in space, but even that seems like it’s oversimplifying it too much. Everything I’ve seen with this game looks great. Check out this gameplay trailer.
Pretty dope, huh?
Still no concrete release date, but it’s set to come out in 2023.
This will probably be the game to finally make me pull the trigger and pick up a new XBox.
But don’t get it twisted. I’m still, and likely always will be, primarily a Playstation guy.
