I Put Rum in My Bunghole – Part 2

So a couple of months ago, we all learned together that a “bunghole” is the name for the hole in the top of an oak barrel that one usually uses for aging liquor.
We all shared a good chuckle, but now it’s time to get serious. Here’s my recipe for aging rum.

Now, be advised that this is specifically for aging rum. You technically don’t even need a recipe to age anything. You can just put whatever liquor you want in your bunghole (come on, I needed one more) and let it age that way. So you can age anything like whiskey, or even moonshine, and not need any further ingredients. But the basic process will still remain the same.

Enjoy!
