Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!

Bro…..these temps in the 60’s and low-70’s are TOTALLY my jam.

I’m so happy that summer is over.

Now that it’s Friday, let’s get out there & have some fun this weekend! Starting today with the 48th annual Cranfest in Warrens!

There’s food, shopping, marsh tours & more. This FREE event runs all weekend from 7am until 5pm each day & there’s plenty to see & do for the entire family! It’s going to be a BERRY good time!

Find out more on their Facebook page.

On Saturday, there’s two great charity events happening in our area that you should try to attend or donate to.

In Holmen, it’s the 5th annual “Kevin’s Legacy Color Run for Kindness 5K“.

This event is on Saturday morning in Holmen from 8:30am until 12:30pm with a pancake breakfast from 8:30am until 10:30am. The other activities begin at 10am at Halfway Creek Park. There will be a silent auction, bounce house, music, and the 5k run/walk begins at 11am.

You can register for the 5k online here or register the day of the event. Can’t make it and still want to help/donate? Click here.

This event is in memory of Kevin Romanowski who lost his life to suicide in 2016.

The other charitable event happening in the area on Saturday is another run/walk in Chaseburg. It’s the 16th annual Chaseburg Sole Burner from 11am until 6:30pm at the Chaseburg Village Park.

Registration starts at 11am, and so does the “Best Ever Chicken Drive-Thru Chicken-Q”!

There will be vendors, a health fair, a live dessert auction, a silent auction, a bucket raffle, a wine cork raffle, a bounce house, face painting, live music, & SO much more.

Adam Palm, Michael Angelo, Schell & Guss Prefontaine will be performing live & you can also enjoy live pole dancing from former Rock calendar girl Joanie Williamson along with Annabel Haze & Katie Sutra from Posh Fit studios!

As always, there’s a ton of other events happening this weekend in the area, and you can find many of them online at

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see on, you can submit it for free here.
