Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!

The week’s over. I need a beer.

And would you look at that!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??????!!!!!!!

The best way to start the weekend is with some outdoor day-drinking at 608 Brewing!

They’ve got their weekly Friday beer release starting at noon today & you can enjoy their collaboration beers with Young Blood Beer Company inside, or out on the patio!

Later tonight, get your ass downtown to the Driftless Axe & Arcade for KARAOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fun starts at 9pm with DJ Brettly!

Couple of BIG ones on Saturday here in LaX, starting with the 14th Annual St. Patrick’s Day parade starting at noon!

The parade starts at the Freighthouse & heads down 2nd St. to Main St., then up to 9th St.

And later in the afternoon, our very own St. Paddy’s Day .01k is happening DOWN BY THE RIVER!

It’s only $20 to register, and all the proceeds go to the Hunger Task Force here in La Crosse.

We’ll be at Riverside Park in the afternoon, and check-in starts at 4pm. Big thanks to all our amazing sponsors, including Paul’s Heating & Air Conditioning, Brothers Bar, 1st Business Solutions, Schneider Accounting & Tax, and Genzie’s Game Day Pub!

On Sunday, it’s another area Chicken-Q!!!!!

Yum.

Get your butts to the Tippy Toe Inn in Chaseburg for the Chaseburg Sole Burner‘s chicken-q & bake sale starting at 11am and going until all the vittles are gone!

Cost is just $10, and all proceeds go to the American Cancer Society Sole Burner of Chaseburg event occurring on Saturday, September 25, 2021!

As always, there’s PLENTY of other stuff happening in the area this weekend, and you can find many of those events online at AroundRiverCity.com!

And if you’ve got an event coming up, you can post it for free here.
