21% of people lie about…..

Watching classic Christmas movies?

I suppose….if you’ve ever seen or heard anyone admit they’ve never seen “Goonies” or “Star Wars” or “The Terminator”, the reaction from others can be dizzying.

I’m always surprised when someone admits they’ve never seen a classic. But how can you grow up and never see “A Christmas Story” or “Miracle on 34th Street” or even “It’s a Wonderful Life”?

According to a new survey, 21% of Americans have LIED about having seen classic holiday movies.

It’s unclear why.  Maybe because it’s alienating or embarrassing . . . maybe it’s just easier to nod and go with the flow . . . or maybe they don’t want someone to FORCE them to watch it.

But some people DO want to catch up.  48% of parents say they have used their KIDS as an excuse to watch holiday movies that they haven’t seen.
