On May 8th, 2014, John Cina was diagnosed with a Stage 4 malignant brain tumor. Tragically, he passed away nine days later.
John was very active in the community, including assisting the De Soto basketball and football teams, as well as the Onalaska American Legion baseball team. He also worked with children at a residential youth center in La Crosse.
This annual tournament will raise funds for a scholarship in John’s memory and promote youth sports in Genoa, De Soto, and Stoddard areas.
There will be a Friday Fish fry, a Chicken-Q on Sunday, live music on Friday and Saturday nights, kids activities all weekend, raffles, pull tabs and more!
