Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend!

Should be a pretty decent weekend in the La Crosse area with highs in the upper 70’s and little-to-no rain in the forecast.

I’ll be on the road to New England for vacation with stops in Rockford, IL to see our friends in Royal Bliss & the Lonely Ones. A stop in Cleveland to see the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, along with a two-night stay at the Christmas Story house. A quick jaunt to see Niagara Falls, and then a week & a half of seafood, Sox games, and brewery tours!

If you’re looking for something to do in the Coulee Region this weekend, here’s a few recommendations:

FRIDAY – LA CROSSE LOGGERS VS. THE ROCHESTER HONKERS @ LOGGER FIELD

default

The Logger season just began earlier this week, but summer zips by rather quickly, so get to the Lumberyard tonight for the Loggers vs. the Rochester Honkers.

Gates open at 5:35pm with first pitch at 6:35pm, and you know the Northwestern Mutual Club Deck is the way to go! You get AYCE food and three complimentary beverages, along with a great view of the entire park!

Or, sit in the grandstands and enjoy their Happy Hour & Friday night Fish Fry with live tunes thanks to Spencer Nickelatti, One Trust Real Estate!

You can buy tickets online here, or grab them at the Logger office on Caledonia St. Or, pick them up at the gate before the game!

Find more info on this event here.

SATURDAY – SPARE PARTS PROJECT @ JUNE DAIRY DAYS IN WEST SALEM

June Dairy Days in West Salem runs all weekend with live music, food, beers, the car show, fireworks, the carnival, a parade, tractor pulls, a Euchre tournament, and so much more!

You can find all the info on June Dairy Days by clicking here, or check out the full schedule of this weekend’s events here.

Our friends in the Spare Parts Project will be ROCKING the main stage on Saturday night, starting at 8:30pm!

Don’t over-do it, though! They’ve got a Chicken-Q and a cornhole tourney on Sunday!

Find out more about this event here.

SUNDAY – STREET MARKET @ ELMARO VINEYARD

Why not have a classy #SundayFunday at Elmaro Vineyard in Trempealeau with some food, drinks, shopping & live tunes???

It’s their first Sunday Street Market of the year and it runs from noon until 4pm with crêpes by Jean Luc, live music from “Under Paris Skies“, wine in the vineyard, an outdoor painting demonstration, and artisan vendors selling all sorts of cool schwag!

If you can’t make it this week, Elmaro will be hosting a Sunday Street Market every Sunday in June from noon until 4pm.

Find out more about this event here.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area this weekend & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
