Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

Look…if it’s actually going to be 61° on Sunday, the Harley is going to finally come out of the garage. I’ve been holding off, hoping for some rain to wash away the dirt & salt on the roads…waiting for warmer temps…but this is it. I cannot let a 60-degree day go by without a spin on the bike.

As for the rest of the weekend, we’ll probably find somewhere to enjoy a fish fry on Friday night, and then we’re off to the cities on Saturday for the 2023 MN Craft Beer Fest for a day of beers, food, & music! Big thanks to everyone who bought tickets for this SOLD OUT bus trip.

FYI, all of our Brewer bus trips & Rock Fest bus trips are online at WiscoTrips.com

If you’re looking for something to do in the area this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

FRIDAY – CABIN FEVER FRENZY @ THE ONALASKA OMNI CENTER

Are you sick & tired of winter and this up & down weather we’ve been having? Need to get out and have some fun? Then get to the Onalaska Omni Center for the Cabin Fever Frenzy this weekend! This event is actually BOTH Friday & Saturday nights with drinks, food, live music, and more!

On Friday night, the doors at the Omni Center open up at 5pm with live music from 1AChord starting at 6pm, and The Dweebs hitting the stage at 8:30pm!

On Saturday, doors once again open at 5pm with Mason Dixon Line taking the stage at 5:30pm, and local favorite, Hillbilly Rocketship playing at 8:30pm.

Tickets are just $10 at the door! Find more info on this event here.

SATURDAY – PETTY COMES ALIVE @ THE LA CROSSE CENTER

Take a bunch of extremely talented area musicians, put them in a beautiful room at the La Crosse Center, and have them play all your favorites from Tom Petty.

Sounds like a hell of a Saturday night!

After you get done with your “Honey-Do” list and errands on Saturday, get a sitter & get to the newly renovated Riverside Ballroom at the Center for “Petty Comes Alive” from Deece Productions!

Doors open at 6pm(5pm with early entry tickets), and music starts at 7pm.

Featuring the amazingly talented Gregg “Cheech” Hall, Chris Castino, Dan Israel, Kevin Gastonguay, Trent Norton, and more!

Get your tickets here.

SUNDAY – JASON DEA WEST @ THE TREMPEALEAU HOTEL, RESTAURANT, & SALOON

If it’s truly going to be near 60° on Sunday, should be a nice ride to Trempealeau for some live tunes at the Trempeauleau Hotel, Restaurant, & Saloon!

Jason Dea West takes the stage from 2-5pm & there’s no cover charge!

Find more info here.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area this weekend & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
