Christopher Robin’s favorite bear is about to get “stabby”.
Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey is now officially out. Honestly, it looks campy as all hell. That isn’t a criticism, however. I’m a child of the 80’s and 90’s. I grew up with a lot of campy, made-for-TV movies, and loved each one of them.
Turning ol’ Pooh Bear and the gang into stone cold murderers is definitely a strange take, but one I’m willing to check out, if not for pure curiosity alone. Obviously someone must have some confidence in it, because despite only releasing today, it’s already been green-lit for a sequel.
