Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!

Usually things start to chill once Summer is over.

But not this year.

There’s so much going on over the next few weeks with Applefest, concerts, & of course, Oktoberfest!

If you’re looking for something to do in the La Crosse area, there’s no shortage of things happening. Here’s a few suggestions for this weekend:

Friday/Saturday – MIDWEST MUSIC FEST

Mid West Music Fest hosts two festivals per year — one in Winona and one in La Crosse — featuring regional acts from all genres of music.

The mission of the MWMF is to promote music and art in the region, creating opportunities for artists, stimulating downtown economic development, and providing diverse educational resources for artists, community members, and children.

Over the two days of Midwest Music Fest in La Crosse, you can enjoy over 50 acts including S. Carey, Field Report, Night Moves, Dead Horses, GGOOLLDD, Rogue Valley, and Dosh, at seven venues in downtown La Crosse, including the Grounded Patio Cafe, the Charmant, and the Popcorn Tavern.

Find a full lineup here. Buy tickets here. Get all the info here.

Saturday – STONE TEMPLE PILOTS WITH SOUL ASYLUM & THE DIRTY HOOKS @ COPELAND PARK

It’s finally here! After months & weeks of waiting, we’re getting a kick-ass outdoor rock show at Copeland Park & Event Center(the Lumberyard).

The legendary Stone Temple Pilots are hitting the stage at Logger Field with special guests, Soul Asylum, and The Dirty Hooks.

Doors open at 4:30pm unless you’ve got early-entry tickets! If you do, you’ll be able to get into the park starting at 4pm. Music starts at 5:30pm!

Limited tickets remain and you can buy them online here. Prices increase $5/ticket on the day of the show, so get them in advance to save money!

Find all the info here.

Sunday – ANNUAL PANCAKE BREAKFAST @ THE LA CRESCENT AREA EVENT CENTER

Please join the La Crescent Lions Club at the La Crescent Area Event Center for their Annual Pancake Breakfast!

We will be serving up pancakes, sausage, and eggs from 7am – 11am on Applefest Sunday!

Presale tickets are available for purchase at La Crescent City Hall, Thorson Graphics, or from any La Crescent Lions Club member.

Find more info here.

As always, there’s a ton of other events happening in our area this weekend and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you have an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
