Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend

The weekend is finally here. Feels like this week took FOREVER! I don’t really have any plans, but I do believe that beer is gonna be involved at some point.

Might hunker down & play some PS4 this weekend, too.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

Tonight!!! Get your ass to the St. Bernard Room at Mt. La Crosse and enjoy some beers and live tunes from my buddy Tom Conrad!

He’s playing from 6-8:30pm with special guest, Prem Rabindranauth and there’s no cover to enjoy the tunes! If you’ve never been in the St. Bernard Room, you’re missing out! More info here.

On Saturday, there’s something really cool happening at UWL in the planetarium. It’s called “Searching for Exoplanets” and it’s a talk on the current evening sky, followed by a multimedia audiovisual presentation in the planetarium.

It’s only $5 for adults, and just $3 for students & seniors. The program starts at 1pm, and if you miss it this Saturday, don’t worry! They’re doing it every Saturday in February at 1pm and you can find out more here.

Saturday night, more live music from the incredibly talented LaSonya Natividad & friends at the Starlite Lounge in downtown La Crosse. Music starts at 7pm and there’s NO cover charge!

Plus, incredible drinks, great foot & wonderful staff! More info here.

On #SundayFunday, the Robin’s Nest on French Island is the place to be for drinks and tunes! Plus, a chance to help out a local music scene legend!

The Fabulous Baloney Skins” will be playing live at the Robin’s Nest for Dan Berger’s Sunday jam/benefit starting at noon. It is free to attend, the food is free, a keg of beer is free (until gone), the music is free, and there will be a donation box there and we’ll be selling “tip boards” if you’re so inclined!

More info here.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in the area this weekend & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you have an event that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
