Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

Looks like no matter what your plans are this weekend, you better make time to do some shoveling. Might get a few inches from Friday night until Saturday morning.

If you’re looking for something else to do this weekend, there’s a bunch of other stuff going on, and here’s a few suggestions:

Tonight, get to the Recovery Room Sports Pub & Grill for the “Frothbite Taster’s Eve“! They’ve got great food at the Recov, and Titletown Brewing Co. will be on hand with their ‘Dark Helmet’ & ‘400 Honey Ale’, and you can get a free pint glass(while supplies last) when you buy a pint of their beer.

The event is from 6-8pm & you can find out more info here.

On Saturday morning, get your steps in while you enjoy some delicious holiday treats at Mary, Mother of the Church during their annual “Cookie Walk“.

From 7:30am until 1pm, you can buy homemade cookies by the pound in the parish hall, along homemade candies, breads, pies, handcrafted items & more! There will also be hourly raffles & door prizes.

Find all the info here.

Saturday afternoon, warm up with ALL of the winter beers in the South Hall of the recently remodeled La Crosse Center for the first ever “Frothbite Beer & Bites Festival” from Explore La Crosse/Between the Bluffs.

Sample great winter beers, ciders, seltzers & more from over 40 breweries, along with delicious bites from multiple vendors. VIP is from 2-3pm, and General Admission is from 3-6pm.

There will also be Hammerschlagen, axe-throwing from the Driftless Axe & Arcade, a cornhole tournament to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network, and live music from Cheeba!

Tickets are available online here, or buy them at the door while supplies last!

On Sunday, if you wake up starving, you’re in luck! There’s another “AYCE Breakfast” at the American Legion Post 51 in West Salem from 8am until 11am!

Enjoy pancakes, eggs, Bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, potatoes, made-to-order french toast, waffles & more!

As always, there’s plenty of other events happening in our area this weekend & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for FREE here.
