Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

Some rain and snow possible on Sunday, but that ain’t stopping us! Not really sure what I’ll be doing this weekend, but I’m sure there’s going to be multiple beers in my forecast.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:

TONIGHT!!!! It’s another album encounter at the UWL Planetarium. This time around, it’s ZZ Top’s third studio album, “Tres Hombres”.

The encounter runs from 8-9pm, and is only $5 per person.

The Planetarium is located in Room 20, in the Basement of Cowley Hall. Cowley is on the northwest corner of East Avenue and Pine Street. Park in the Stadium Lot (Commuter Lot 2/C-2). More info here.

On Saturday, get up early & get to Viroqua for the 2021 Holiday Craft & Vendor Fair at Pedretti’s Party Barn from 9am-3pm.

Check out over 30 local craft vendors and small business owners. Free admission!

Vernon Vineyards will have wine specials, located just next door, and Uncle Perry will be back with his smoked pulled pork and chicken sandwiches. Snacks and beverages will also be available.

Saturday night, mask up(sorry, it’s required for this show!), and get to “The Main – An Event Space” in downtown La Crosse for Big Bluff Comedy. Doors open at 6pm, and comedy runs from 7-9pm. Admission is free, however, please bring a non-perishable food item to donate to the Hunger Task Force!

Find more info here.

This Sunday, the Packers are on the bye, but you can still get to Glory Days Sports Pub for their bye-week chili cook-off!

Doors open at 10am, chili gets served by noon with judging by 1pm.

As always, there’s plenty of other events happening in our area this weekend, and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, submit it for free here.
