Last week Wednesday, we dropped by Catholic Charities warming house on 3rd Street to drop off a little Thanksgiving happiness. We brought them 2 very big party subs from Subway, a tray of cookies, along with a $500 cash donation. Because everyone deserves a full belly and a reason to smile on Thanksgiving.
Of course, this and many other things we accomplish, would not be made possible without you, our amazing Rock listeners. We thank you all for your continued support, and want you to know where your charitable donations are going, and how you’re helping us help our community.
If you would like to help more, some of the things that the warming shelter is looking for this time of year include; warm cloths (2X and above are especially needed as those donations are rare) gloves, hand warmers, soap or bodywash, deodorant, laundry detergent, dish soap, and shoes or boots.
