Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend

It’s the weekend before a short work-week and I’ve gotta once again rake/mow because the windy conditions blew all my neighbor’s leaves in my yard.

Sonofabitch.

But, I do have plans to have some fun this weekend, might even buy a new Harley from Great River Harley-Davidson.

I know it’s not technically “riding season”, but I am looking forward to seeing that beauty in my garage all winter long.

If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, there’s PLENTY of options, starting tonight with live music at Leo & Leona’s from Tommy Prine(son of John Prine), and special guests, Stacy Hanson & Andrew Hughes!

All of the online tickets are gone, but a few tickets will be available at the door for $25. Doors at 5:30pm, music at 7pm!

More info here!

On Saturday, it’s supposed to be almost 50°!!!!!! Get out & enjoy it!

If you’d rather stay inside, check out the La Crosse Holiday Fair at the La Crosse Center! The fair is going on all weekend, including Saturday from 9am until 5pm, and Sunday from 10am until 3pm.

Admission is $2 for adults, and free for kids under 12. If you’re looking to bring the kids down to meet Santa & Rudolph, they’ll be at the fair from 10am-12:30pm & 1:30pm-4:30pm on Saturday, and 11am-12:30pm on Sunday.

More info here.

Saturday night, get some drinks & incredible food at the Arterial Bar & Grill for a tap takeover from Other Half Brewing.

You can try beers from Other Half & three all new sliders from Chef Jake starting at 6pm!

More info here.

On Sunday, it’s the Packer/Viking game at noon, and there’s no shortage of places having a tailgate party, but if you want some of that legendary South Lanes pizza, you have to get to Charlie’s Inn! They’ve got 13 TVs surrounding the bar, and they’ll have food & drink specials during the game along with pizza from South Lanes!

As always, there’s a ton of other events happening in our area this weekend, and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured at AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here!
