Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend.

As we push into October, the weather continues to be rather decent and there’s no shortage of things going on in the area this weekend, including the Oktoberfest races at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway!

The event runs all weekend with racing, music, food, drinks, and more!

You’ve got Super Late Models, Area Sportsmen, pet costume contests, the Dick Trickle 99, ARCA and soooooo many other events at the Speedway.

For a full line-up of the events, click here.

On Saturday, it’s going to be beautiful weather for riding, so get to Rod’s Ride-On Powersports early in the AM for the annual Oktoberfest Motorrad ride through the Coulee Region!

I’ve been test riding a few different bikes lately, but I’m excited to get on the Road King & head out for a wonderful day of riding for a great cause!

This event is open to motorcycles, classic cars, and convertibles for $25 per rider/driver & $25 per passenger.

Registration & waiver signing is from 8-9am, with a mandatory pre-ride meeting at 9am. Kickstands up at 9:30am with an approximate return time of 4pm.

Proceeds from this ride helps provide a $1000 scholarship to nine area high schools, awarded yearly through the Gemütlichkeit Foundation.

You can register online here.

Saturday night, check out some live tunes from former Rock calendar girl, Abbey Lane, at Angry’s Way Out on Brice Prairie from 8pm until 11pm.

They’ve got food, beer, and a great outdoor patio at Angry’s!

On #SundayFunday, get to Silverado Saloon in West Salem for a post-Oktoberfest race weekend show from Sunbutt & the Moonshiners!

These kids are badass(even without that SWEET mullet!), and they’ll be playing from 2-5pm!

There’s plenty of other things happening this weekend in the Coulee Region, and you can find many of those events online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for FREE here.
