Another busy weekend for yours truly. Rock Stops on Friday, Saturday & Sunday……so I’m sure I’ll see some of you this weekend.
And even though I’ll be working all weekend, I’m still gonna try to get out & have a beer or two.
If you’re looking for something to do, here’s a few suggestions:
Tonight & tomorrow night, enjoy some LIVE polka music at the La Crosse Bierhaus from the Bill Koncar band!
Music starts at 6:30pm both nights, but I suggest getting there a bit early for some Friday fish fry & a pint of their Hofbrau!
On Saturday, there’s a bunch of stuff happening in the area, as always during the summer, but if you’re looking to get on two wheels & get outta town, there’s a Bikers Against Child Abuse ride starting at 9:30am at Rod’s Ride-On Powersports!

Also on Saturday, from 11am until 4pm, you can enjoy live music, food, games & more at F.R.E.E. Fest.
The event is at Maple Grove Venues in West Salem and is free to attend. There will be guest speakers, live music from Joe Cody, & Tom Carpenter, games, medical bag presentations, and catering by Big Boar BBQ, Little Padthai food truck and Rose’s food truck.
All proceeds from F.R.E.E. Fest will be used to provide the La Crosse County, WI Police Department and Houston County, MN Police Department with high-quality medical bags for patrol cars. The goal of the event is to raise enough funds to purchase 100 medical bags.
On #SundayFunday, get to Viroqua for some wine & music at Vernon Vineyards!
Nightcap will be playing from 2-5pm, and feel free to bring a chair or a blanket. You can find more info here.
