Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!

It’s Memorial Day Weekend, and many of us have Monday off. And while I enjoy a beer & a BBQ as much as the next guy, let’s also remember WHY we “celebrate” Memorial Day.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend in the La Crosse area, you’re in luck. There’s a TON of stuff going on, and here’s a smattering of what’s happening!

Get to Big Al’s in downtown tonight for some KILLER pizza, great drinks, and live tunes from Nightcap on the patio. It’s probably going to be a bit chilly, so bring a hoodie! They play from 5pm until 8pm!

On Saturday morning from 11am until 3pm, it’s the final “Shoes with Heart” shoe drive at the Radisson Hotel in downtown La Crosse with the La Crosse Jaycees.

Donate new or gently used shoes, boots, slippers, etc. and they’ll donate that footwear to developing countries.

Saturday night, more live tunes at a pizza joint! This time, you can take the scenic drive to Brownsville for some INCREDIBLE ‘za at Saxon Hall, and enjoy the wonderful sounds of Joe & Vicki Price from 7pm until 10pm!

Even MORE live music on Sunday as the weather continues to improve!

Get your flippy-floppies, and get on a boat…..and head to Lawrence Lake Marina for LIVE music from Cody & Orrico starting at 3pm!

And if you don’t gotta work on Monday and you’re looking to get out for even MORE live music, take an Uber to Angry’s Way Out on Brice Prairie for the Brianna Rae Band on Sunday night from 8pm until 11pm!

As always, there’s a BUNCH of other events happening in our area this weekend, and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for FREE here.
