In mid-April, young Levi experienced horrific 2nd & 3rd degree burns on his hands and legs.
He was taken to Gundersen in La Crosse, but the burns were so severe that he was taken to Madison for more intensive treatment.
Levi underwent mulitple procedures, including skin grafts on both his hands and one of his knees.
He’s healing well & was finally released from the hospital in Madison on May 3rd, but Levi still has a lengthy road to recovery.
He will be returning to Madison on a regular basis for dressing changes and rehab.
Levi’s father, Garret, has lost wages from missing work to be with Levi while in the hospital, and the medical bills are also piling up.
There is a GoFundMe account set up to help offset some of these costs.
