Three things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!

After the snow dumped on us, it’s going to be colder than a witch’s nipple!

But we’re Wisconsinites and the cold doesn’t bother us one bit.

So, if you’re looking for outdoor entertainment this weekend, there’s PLENTY to go around.

Starting with the 98th Annual Snowflake Ski Jump in Westby! This year, because of Covid, some things will be different, so please take that into account if you’re planning to attend.

No admission fee this year, but they are asking for donations. No dance this year, either…and no alcohol sales. However, there will be some food for sale.

The event runs Friday & Saturday and more info can be found here.

If live music is what you’re looking for this weekend, then get your butt to the St. Bernard Room at Mount La Crosse on Friday night for David Nash!

On Saturday, get your V-day shopping taken care of & sip some locally made wines at “In The Making” in Trempealeau!

They’ll be sampling wines from Tenba Ridge Winery in Blair from 9am until 5pm, so stop by, try some & grab a bottle or two!

If you need some live tunes on Saturday evening, check out our good buddy, Andy Hughes of TUGG at the St. Bernard Room starting at 6pm.

Everybody knows that the Super Bowl is on Sunday, but if you want to get out & enjoy the winter weather with your kids, head to Poage Park from noon-2pm & skate with Elsa & Anna from Disney’s “Frozen”!

No skates? No problem.

The City of La Crosse Park & Rec department with have free rentals at the Poage Park shelter, and there will also be giveaways!

As always, there’s a BUNCH of other events happening in our area this weekend, and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com.

And if you want to add your event to our calendar, you can submit it by clicking here.
