Three grand on holiday spending?

That’s what the residents of Palo Alto, CA are spending this year.

Dang. That seems a bit excessive.

Even without a pandemic.

According to this study by WalletHub, they looked at five characteristics of 570 cities in the US, including average income, age and savings-to-monthly expenses ratio to determine what people are going to be spending on the holidays this year.

Minnesota has a couple of cities in the top 30 with Mankato & Plymouth, and Wisconsin finally shows up at 105 with Waukesha spending $1,246 on the holidays.

I’m thinking somewhere closer to $200 for me. Money is tight this year!

One thing I do know is that I’ll be spending the majority of my money locally & I urge you to do so as well!
