The house from the Golden Girls is up for sale!
Sorta.
Like many TV shows, they use the exterior from an actual house for the establishing shots, then create the interior of the house in a studio for the production of the show.
And the house in LA that was used as the exterior of the one that Blanche, Dorothy, Rose & Sophia lived in is now up for sale for a cool $3 million.
It’s a 4-bedroom home with a “unique & timeless Japanese/Hawaiian style” according to the realty firm that’s selling it.
But, unlike the house on the show, there’s no wicker furniture or pastel colors or penis-cake pans on the wall.
