“Cow ’bout we do it for Jen” – Jennifer Wedmann Benefit

Jennifer Wedmann was diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer in March of 2015. She underwent chemotherapy, surgery, then radiation. Her cancer went into remission and she enjoyed teaching Special Education and working towards her master’s degree in the Special Education Field.

However, in February of 2018, after many months of headaches, it was discovered the cancer had metastasized to her brain, preventing her from being able to complete her master’s degree. Jennifer underwent brain surgery resulting in a semi paralysis of her right side and speech difficulty, along with Chemo and Radiation once again.

This unfortunately ended her teaching career and Jennifer spent the next 1-1/2 years doing therapy to regain some movement of her right side and speech.

In November 2019 she was once again told her cancer had invaded her bones. Surgery has been done to stabilize her right leg, while Chemo and Radiation have begun to tackle the cancer in the affected bones.

There will be a benefit for Jen on Saturday, March 7th at the Legion Post 249 in Spring Grove, MN from 1pm until 11:30pm.

There will be food from Fat Pat’s BBQ, a live & silent auction, live music & more!!!
