Cynthia has a disease called Polycystic Kidney Disease and has been off of work for over a year because of her illness and has a lot of out of pocket expenses that insurance doesn’t cover.
Cynthia will undergo a kidney transplant on June 24th and after the surgery she will be on expensive anti-rejection medication for the rest of her life.
There will be a Chicken-Q for Cynthia on Friday, May 6th, from 10:30am until 4:30pm in the Pump House parking lot to help raise money to offset the cost of the surgery and the other out-of-pocket expensives.
