Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
The weekend is here and the weather keeps doing it’s up-and-down thing, and there’s plenty of stuff happening in the Coulee Region!
Not quite sure what we’re doing, but I do have some small projects to finish up on Saturday before heading to a monthly drawing at one of our favorite watering holes.
If you’re wondering what to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:
FRIDAY – LA CROSSE AREA BUILDERS ASSOCIATION HOME SHOW @ THE ONALASKA OMNI CENTER
The La Crosse Area Builders Association Home Show is this Friday, Saturday & Sunday at the Onalaska Omni Center and it’s your opportunity to connect with over a hundred trusted home professionals, learn something new from one of the many seminars, and get the help you need for your next home project!
If you’ve got a remodeling or landscaping project coming up…or if you’re looking to replace old windows, fix a leaky roof, or any other type of home maintenance, you can find help at the Home Show!
And you can do it while enjoying a beverage from Vernon Vineyards, Hillsboro Brewing Co., Skeleton Crew Brew, Lost Island Wine, and Coulee Lemon Company!
On Friday, the LABA Home Show is from 4pm until 8pm and the theme is “Date Night”. Saturday, it runs from 10am until 4pm with a “Community Day” theme. On Sunday, the Home Show is from 10am until 3pm and it’s “Family Day”.

SATURDAY – THIRD ANNUAL CRITTER CRAWL WITH THE COULEE REGION HUMANE SOCIETY
Having a few beers, eating some delicious food, winning some prizes, raising money for a great cause….AND spending time with some shelter dogs????
Sign me up!
This Saturday, it’s the 3rd Annual Coulee Region Humane Society‘s Critter Crawl and for just $40, your donation will get you a custom t-shirt, drink specials at all the stops on the crawl. Along with games, prizes, raffles, lunch at Big Al’s or Lindy’s Subs & Salads…and you’ll be helping the Coulee Region Humane Society raise much-needed money!

SUNDAY – THE 6TH ANNUAL LA CROSSE LIONS EASTER EGG HUNT @ MYRICK PARK
Looks like it’s going to be about 60 degrees on Sunday with zero chance of rain in the forecast, so it should be perfect weather to take the kids to Myrick Park for the 6th Annual Easter Egg Hunt with the La Crosse Lions Charities!
This event is free for all the kids, but pre-registration is requested! 2-3 year olds are hunting for eggs beginning at 2pm, the 4-6 year olds start at 2:30pm, and the 7-9 year olds begin at 3pm. Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before you planned start time.
The Easter bunny will be available for pictures with the kids and you can find all the details here.
