Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.

Now that the Super Bowl is in the books and the weather is gradually warming up, I’m really looking forward to Spring so I can get to work on my lawn and backyard projects.

Thankfully, I’ve been able to keep up with all the dog shit out there thanks to the recent thaw.

But before all that, there’s a romantic holiday happening this weekend and I think the wife & I are going out for a fancy dinner somewhere. And in a few weeks, we are heading to the Cities to see Bad Omens and Beartooth at the Target Center.(Wish me luck!)

If you’re looking for something to do in the Coulee Region this weekend, you’re in luck! Here’s a few suggestions:

THURSDAY THROUGH SUNDAY – THE LA CROSSE SPORT SHOW @ THE LA CROSSE CENTER

Several weeks ago, my social media algorithm was feeding me videos of these ginormous campers with multiple bedrooms, walk-in closets and incredible-looking showers. Needless to say, the wife & I have been tossing around the idea of getting a camper at some point.

If you’re looking for a camper, or a boat, or an RV, or an ATV, a spot to go fly fishing…basically anything outdoor-related, you need to get to the La Crosse Center this weekend for the annual La Crosse Sport Show.

Browse the latest in boats, docks, RVs, travel trailers, ATVs, and fishing & hunting gear!

Check out the extreme raptor show with beautiful birds of prey up close & personal, step into the parakeet landing, catch a fish in the live trout pond, enjoy one of the many seminars from all sorts of professionals including Mad Dog & Merrill!

The La Crosse Sport Show is Thursday from 3pm until 8pm, Friday from 10am until 8pm, Saturday from 9am until 8pm, and Sunday from 10am until 3pm. Tickets are available in advance by clicking here, or you can buy them at the door.
