Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
September JUST started and it’s already half over. Oktoberfest is right around the corner, and we leave for New England in like six minutes!!!!
Is it just me or does it feel like time is speeding by right meow?
We were at a birthday party last weekend for our neighbor and this weekend, we’ll be at the wedding reception for one of their kids. Also going to be finalizing all my Halloween decorations this weekend. Even though it’s supposed to be in the 80’s, I’ve gotta get that stuff out ASAFP.
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend in the Coulee Region, here’s a few suggestions:

We always have a blast watching River City Championship Wrestling at the Roy L. Vingers American Legion Post 52 and this week should be no different!
RCCW‘s “River Rumble 2025” is packed with matches including an Over-The-Top Battle Royal where the winner earns the very first championship match of 2026. RCCW Heavyweight Champ Devlin Kain puts the strap on the line against Brock Hall. And 3BF(AC Riley & Nicky Douché) take on Two Tough Kids(Gavin Parker & Asher Kade) for the River City Championship Tag Team titles!
Doors at the Roy L. Vingers American Legion Post 52 open at 6pm and the bell rings at 7pm. You can buy tickets for this event online here. Or get them at the door while they last!

SATURDAY – 20TH ANNUAL STEPPIN’ OUT IN PINK @ RIVERSIDE PARK

The 20th Annual Steppin’ Out in Pink is this Saturday morning at Riverside Park to benefit breast cancer research & to fund patient programs at Emplify Health by Gundersen.
Nearly everyone has been affected by breast cancer. Whether you are a survivor yourself, or are related to a breast cancer survivor…or maybe your neighbor/co-worker/friend was diagnosed and is going through the fight. It had touched almost all of our lives. Which is part of the reason why this event is so important!
This year’s 20th Annual Steppin’ Out In Pink gets started bright & early at 7am with the vendor market at Riverside Park featuring amazing local vendors & food trucks. This is open to all & free to attend!
The Mobile Mammogram RV will also be at Riverside Park, and you can stop & chat with the Emplify Health team and even schedule your exam.
The Survivor Social will be at the old CenturyLink building from 7am until 8:30am.
Mollie B & Squeezebox will perform live at 8:15pm on the bandshell, followed by the Survivor Walk from 8:30am until 8:40am. The opening ceremony will take place shortly after with the walk starting at 9am.
The UWL Screaming Eagles Marching Band returns for a stunning send-off for this year’s participants, who can enjoy a 2.5 mile walk throughout downtown La Crosse with entertainment along the way.
