Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
This weekend feels like a good one to lay around and do absolutely nothing. Mother’s day next weekend…my birthday & Big Bikes the following weekend…and then the 95 Days of Summer begin and it’s an absolute blur for about 4 months before things quiet down again.
If you’re looking to get out and do something this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:
FRIDAY – ANDY HUGHES LIVE @ SWING INN IN FERRYVILLE

Great live music. Delicious food. Ice cold beers. And a hell of a view!
Take the short drive to Ferryville later tonight and check out my guy, Andy Hughes, at the Swing Inn!
Andy starts at 8:30pm, but you should get to the Swing Inn early for their Friday Fish Fry!
And if that’s not your jam, they’ve got burgers, sandwiches, apps & plenty of other options. Andy will be kicking things off with an entire hour of Johnny Cash classics, followed by his signature tunes with plenty of country/folk/reggae style.

SATURDAY – LA CROSSE BEER SHOW @ THE ONALASKA OMNI CENTER

If you’re a collector and you’re looking for beer cans, neon signs, vintage bottles, brewery advertising, tap handles, bar signs, rare collectibles….basically anything beer/bar-related, you’ll likely find it at the La Crosse Beer Show this Saturday at the Onalaska Omni Center!
This popular annual event brings together collectors from across the Midwest to buy, sell, and trade vintage beer and brewery advertising collectibles.
The La Crosse Beer Show is from 9am until 2pm at the Onalaska Omni Center and it’s only $4 to get in, or $20 for early bird entry at 8am.

SUNDAY – SILENCE ON THE RANGE @ THE HOLMEN ROD & GUN CLUB

This Sunday, I’ll be hanging out at the Holmen Rod & Gun club for “Silence on the Range” suppressor demo day!
You can join Prestige Firearms, Ambient Arms, and Fox Creek Arms for a hands-on suppressor range day. Whether you’re new to suppressors are already a fan. This event is for you!
You can learn with hands-on demos to gain experience, talk with industry pros, and check out different set-ups.
Cost is $20 and includes a meal & beverage with entry. Find more info on this event here.

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area this weekend and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com
