Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
It’s Easter this weekend, and I’m ready for some ham & cheesy potatoes! Also looking forward to watching all the Final Four action.
Was hoping to get out for a ride on the Harley, but the weather doesn’t seem to be interested in cooperating.
If you’re looking to get out and do something this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:
FRIDAY – SOUL ASYLUM(ACOUSTIC) AT THE HISTORIC TEMPLE THEATER IN VIROQUA

It’s been a minute since Soul Asylum have been in the area, and this Friday night you can enjoy an acoustic performance from the Grammy award-winning group at the historic Temple Theater in Viroqua.
They’ve released over a dozen albums, including 1992’s “Grave Dancers Union”, featuring their massive hits, “Runaway Train”, “Black Gold”, and “Somebody to Shove”.
Jason Narducy will be opening for Soul Asylum.
This Soul Asylum performance at the Temple Theater is acoustic, and tickets are available online for just $50 here.
The show starts at 8pm and you can find more info on this event here.
SATURDAY – GREAT RIVER HARLEY HOP @ GREAT RIVER HARLEY-DAVIDSON

Sure, there’s been plenty of bikes out already. And with that nice soaking rain we got on Tuesday morning, the roads should be a lot cleaner and less sandy.
Unfortunately, the temps aren’t going to be great for riding until later next week when it warms up into the 60’s.
And if you’ve got some last minute stuff you need to pick up before you get your knees in the breeze, head to Great River Harley-Davidson this Saturday for their Harley Hop! A family-friendly event that features pictures with the Easter bunny from 9am until 11am, followed by an Easter egg hunt for all the kids!
Plenty of bikes on display at Great River HD along with all the new riding gear you’re going to need this summer. Maybe pick up an accessory or two.
You can find more info on this event here.

SUNDAY – CHAMPAGNE EASTER BRUNCH @ THE RADISSON HOTEL/THREE RIVERS

Why cook & clean when you can have someone take care of that for you?
The champagne Easter brunch at the Radisson Hotel & Three Rivers River View Restaurant & Bar is this Sunday from 10am until 3pm, featuring a carving station with honey glazed ham and smoked turkey, made-to-order omelets & waffles, smoked salmon, ham & cheese Frittata, biscuits & gravy and a WHOLE lot more!
