Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend!

After a few really nice days just two weeks ago, Winter has officially returned and sat right on our face.

It’s brutally cold. There seems to be fresh snow every single day. Just enough to be annoying. And no real end in sight.

Thankfully, there’s plenty of indoor activities happening all winter long, including this weekend! And if you’re looking for a few suggestions, here’s a couple:

FRIDAY & SATURDAY – THE RIVERFRONT REVOLT AT THE LA CROSSE CENTER!

Big beers. Loud tunes. Your favorite bands. Tons of people we haven’t seen in months.

It’s going to be friggin’ awesome!

The Riverfront Revolt returns to the La Crosse Center this Friday & Saturday night with live music from 311, Lit, & Sick Puppies on the 23rd. Followed by Chevelle, Of Mice & Men, Nonpoint, & Amira Elfeky on the 24th.

Doors at the La Crosse Center on Friday open at 5pm with music starting at 6pm. And on Saturday, the doors open at 4pm with music at 5pm!

Plenty of ticket options available including seats in the 200 or 300 level, the General Admission floor tickets, Stage Front passes that include a private entrance…a festival koozie to keep your beverage nice & cold…and a private bar for all your drinking needs! Or grab Jam Deck tickets(while they last) for an elevated viewing experience that also includes a private entrance…private bar…and festival t-shirt!

Find Friday tickets here. And look for Saturday tickets here.

There will be games, vendors, and a shot at prizes…including a guitar autographed by many of the artists performing at the Riverfront Revolt.

SUNDAY – BINGO WITH THE HOLMEN AREA COMMUNITY CENTER @ DRUGAN’S GOLF COURSE

If you’re like me, you’ll be somewhere watching the AFC & NFC Conference Championship games this Sunday afternoon/evening. (GO PATS!)

However, if you have zero interest in watching football, you should get to Drugan’s in Holmen for Bingo with the Holmen Area Community Center!

This fundraising event starts at 2:30pm and is CASH ONLY!!!!

It’s just $15 for ten games with two blackout rounds for an extra $5 each. There will be plenty of fun, prizes, games and more!

Doors open at 1:30pm and food will be available along with a full service bar! All proceeds will benefit the Holmen Area Community Center.

Find more info on this event here.

As always, there’s plenty of other events happening in our area & you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com

And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
