Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
A bit colder this weekend than it was during the week with some snow possible on Saturday.
I plan on watching a LOT of football and not much else.
If you actually want to get out and do something, here’s a few suggestions
FRIDAY – FISH & WINGS @ THE ROY L. VINGERS POST #52 IN LA CROSSE WITH LIVE MUSIC FROM MIKE GATES

Does it get any more obvious?? It’s a Friday night in Wisconsin, so hit up the local watering hole for an old fashioned and some Friday Night fish!!
If an old fashioned isn’t your jam, they’ve got plenty of other cocktails and plenty of ice-cold beer at the Roy L. Vingers American Legion Post #52 in La Crosse, and they’ve got some of the best fish in town.
You can dine in or grab a carryout starting at 4:30pm. You can also enjoy live music from Mike Gates starting at 5pm.

It’s one of the most popular activities in America and if you’ve been itching to try it, here’s your chance!
This Saturday from 4pm until 5:30pm, you can check out Pickleball at Blue Zone Pickleball on La Crosse’s northside. It’s $15 per person and is designed for complete beginners!
You can learn the fundamental rules, basic strokes, and proper court positioning.
Please bring tennis shoes and water. Paddles will be available if you do not have your own.
