Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
The weather this weekend isn’t going to get much better than it was all week…and it’s definitely not going to be like it was last weekend.
So, let’s stay indoors and have some fun this weekend!
If you’re looking for something to do the next few days, here’s a couple suggestions:
FRIDAY – 61ST ANNUAL HOLIDAY FAIR @ THE LA CROSSE CENTER

The 61st Annual Holiday Fair at the La Crosse Center is this Thursday through Sunday with dozens & dozens of vendors with a massive variety of holiday gifts for sale.
The holiday fair features more than 130 artisans and vendors from across the Midwest, selling a massive variety of things like handmade jewelry, candles, home décor, fabric goods, and unique creations!
You can get a bunch of your holiday shopping done all in one place…and get your picture taken with Santa Claus!
Santa Claus will be at the La Crosse Center & available for photographs daily. And Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer, will make special appearances throughout the show. There will also be door prizes every hour, every day.
Santa is on-site for photos on Friday from 1pm until 4:30pm and again from 5:30pm until 8pm. On Saturday from 10am until 12:30pm and again from 1:30pm until 4:30pm. Finally on Sunday from 11am until 2:30pm.
The 61st Annual Holiday Fair at the La Crosse Center runs from noon until 8pm today, 9am until 5pm on Saturday, and from 10am until 3pm on Sunday.
Tickets are just $5 and are only available at the door. Kids 12 & under get in for FREE!

SUNDAY – BOARD BASICS CHARCUTERIE CLASS @ THE PEOPLE’S FOOD CO-OP WITH HUNT & GATHER GRAZING BOARDS

Anybody can throw some pickles & various cheeses on a plate and call it shark-coochie. But it takes a real artist to craft a beautiful charcuterie board for that special holiday gathering. And you’ve got a chance to become that artist at the People’s Food Co-Op this Sunday afternoon with Hunt & Gather Grazing Boards.
Wow your guests & family this Christmas with a killer creation from your own kitchen. On Sunday from 10am until 1pm, you will be learning to build a wonderful charcuterie board with a hands-on class from Hunt & Gather Grazing Boards at the Co-Op.
Tickets are just $35 per person and you can purchase them here.
Please note that you will not leave with a charcuterie board, but will get the following:
– A mocktail drink ticket for use during the event
– People’s Food Co-Op goodies (reusable dishcloth, sticker, and coupon for after-class shopping)
– Tips and hands-on practice to learn the basics of elevating your at-home board creations
– A list of supplies you’ll need based on what you learned at the various creation stations
– Unique ideas for the upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving and Winter)
– An entry into a drawing for a Mid Gathering Board Gift Certificate
