Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
It’s the Spookiest weekend of the year and there’s no shortage of Halloween/Costume parties in the area. Check out AroundRiverCity.com to find some of these events if you’re looking to enter a contest and try to win a bar tab and/or a cash prize.
Last year it was rather raw & cold on Halloween if my memory serves, and it should be cold but dry for this year’s trick-or-treating.
Here’s a few suggestions if you’re looking to get out and have some fun this weekend:
FRIDAY – PAT MCCURDY @ THE ALPINE INN

Friday night, get your duff up the bluff to the Alpine Inn for live music from the Wisconsin legend, Pat McCurdy!
Show starts at 8pm and there’s a $5 cover at the door. You’ll wanna get there early for a good seat and to grab a bite. They’ve got really good pizza & burgers at the Alpine. Not to mention all the ice cold drinks!
Pat will play all his most popular tunes including “Sex & Beer” and “Monkey Paw”…and since it’s Halloween, I’m sure we can expect some spooky surprises as well!

SATURDAY – CHICKEN Q @ AMERICAN LEGION POST 417 ON FRENCH ISLAND

Chicken-Q’s are hard to come by this time of year, but on Saturday afternoon you can stop by the American Legion Post 417 on French Island for a Q starting at 4pm.
Just $12 for a half chicken with baked beans, coleslaw & bread. They’ll be serving until it’s gone, so don’t be late! And the bar will be open if you want to sit down & enjoy it fresh off the grill with a beverage!

SUNDAY – PACKERS POTLUCK PARTY @ WISCO JOHNNY’S

The Packers take on the Panthers at Lambeau on Sunday at noon and Wisco Johnny’s is having a Packer Potluck Party!
Obviously, you are encouraged to bring a dish to share while watching the game and Wisco Johnny’s will have prizes & other freebies to give away throughout the game…including the very popular drinking necklace!
Quarter boards, bucket & shot specials and a whole lot more!

As always, there’s a bunch of other events happening in our area this weekend and you can find many of them online at AroundRiverCity.com
And if you’ve got an event coming up that you’d like to see featured on AroundRiverCity.com, you can submit it for free here.
