Our interview with Shaun McCoy of Blood Ocean/Bobaflex

We’ve known Shaun McCoy for a number of years…mostly from his time spend touring with Bobaflex. 

They played many shows here in town and in the area, and several years ago, he stepped away from the band to be a full-time dad. 

There’s been a few Bobaflex shows every year since to try and satisfy the masses, and now that his kid is older, he’s dipping back into the world of music with a new venture named Blood Ocean.

We got on the phone with Shaun yesterday to talk about the band, their new single “I Like To Boom Boom”, a possible tour, and we also discussed some of his dork tendencies.
