Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
After an a very busy three days last weekend, it’s time to reload the clip and get after it again this weekend.
Going here, going there…gonna be everywhere! Unfortunately, it’s going to be near 90° today and some possible showers & thunderstorms are in the forecast for tomorrow. But we’ll make the most of it.
If you’re looking something to do in the Coulee Region, you are in luck! There’s a lot going on, and here’s a few suggestions:
FRIDAY – ASHLEY FOR THE ARTS IN ARCADIA
Believe it or not, this will be my first ever Ashley For The Arts. Usually I’m too busy with Rock Stops to get to Arcadia, but this year I’ll be heading out there on Saturday for Third Eye Blind & Darius Rucker.
Ashley for the Arts actually started last night and continues tonight with Daughtry, ZZ Top, and Brad Paisley.
There’s a bunch of other bands playing this year including Boogie & the Yo-Yoz, Pulse8, the La Crosse Confluence and many more.

SATURDAY – IRISHFEST @ THE SOUTHSIDE FESTGROUNDS
The 20th Annual IrishFest is loaded with great Irish & Celtic music & dancing, food, drinks, cultural displays, workshops, a Wee Folks area, the genealogy tent, Highland Games, the Tug of War, and plenty of family-friendly events.
Definitely excited to see the Harp Twins again! There’s also music from Gaelic Storm, the High Kings, Amadans, Boxing Banjo, and MANY others.

SUNDAY – SUNDAY FUNDAY WITH ANDY HUGHES @ THE ALPINE INN
Get your duff up the bluff this Sunday afternoon for some food, drinks, and live music from Andy Hughes of TUGG!
He’ll be playing at the Alpine Inn from 1pm until 4pm with NO COVER charge! And you can enjoy bottomless mimosas from noon until 2pm!
They’ve got great food on the menu including appetizers, burgers, pizzas & more at the Alpine.
