Three things to do in & Around River City this weekend.
To say that I’m busy the next couple of weeks would be an understatement. So many things going on!
A couple of golf outings, a couple of concerts, and a lot of work.
Thankfully, it’s going to be rather mild weather-wise with very few days in the 80’s.
If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, here’s a few suggestions:
FRIDAY – TRIVIA ON THE TERRACE @ THE LA CROSSE CENTER
A new, summer event every Friday evening at the La Crosse Center on the beautiful terrace with stunning views of downtown & the Mississippi River!
This event is hosted by DJ Trivia every Friday in June & July(with the exception of July 4th), and doors are at 5pm with the games beginning at 6pm.
There will be food from Chick-Fil-A available for purchase, along with drinks!
In case of poor weather, trivia will be played in the Riverside pre-function space at the La Crosse Center.

SATURDAY – ARTSPIRE @ RIVERSIDE PARK
Free. Open to the public. LOTS to see & experience!
Artspire is Saturday from 10am until 7pm at Riverside Park(and if it rains, the event will move to the Riverside Ballroom in the La Crosse Center), and yes…it’s FREE!
Artspire is an all-inclusive, free community art event that is produced and funded by the Pump House Regional Arts Center, it’s sponsors and donors.
Enjoy live music & performances by regional artists and cultural groups such as Ometochtli Mexican Folk Dance Group, a fine art fair featuring over 70 regional artists showcasing and selling a variety of fine arts including pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, sculptures, and more. Create artwork of your very own at one of the many interactive arts booths. Try delicious food and beverages from several local food trucks and vendors throughout the day.

SATURDAY NIGHT – STONE TEMPLE PILOTS & BLACK STONE CHERRY @ MAPLE GROVE VENUES
You know the deal…it’s a concert!
The legendary Stone Temple Pilots are coming to Maple Grove Venues in West Salem with Black Stone Cherry & the Unlikely Candidates!
Love me an outdoor live show right in our backyard. Make sure you get to MGV early to get a good spot, grab a beer, and witness the flag presentation before the show begins!

SUNDAY – CONCERTS IN THE PARK @ THE HOLMEN BANDSHELL
Grab your lawn chairs, fill up the cooler, & head to Holmen this Sunday evening for some great(and FREE) live music from the Pinski Brothers!
This concert, along with all the Sunday performances, will be held at the Halfway Creek Park Band Shell from 5pm until 7pm. Should it rain, the concert will move to the Holmen Library Community Room.
All concerts are free & open to the public!
