As always, there’s a ton of stuff happening in the Coulee Region this weekend. Especially with Memorial Day on Monday. It’s the unofficial start to the summer, so let’s get out there and live life these next few days!
Here’s a few suggestions if you are looking for something to do:
FRIDAY – THE FREEZERS @ THE ROBINS NEST
The Freezers. On a Friday. On French Island.

Head to the Robins Nest later tonight to catch live music from one of La Crosse’s favorite bands, The Freezers!
Show starts at 8pm, but get to the Nest early for some food, to grab a spot close to the stage, and get ready to rock! The Freezers are eclectic & that play all genres of music from late 70’s to current hits.
Help the Freezers kick off Memorial Day weekend with some great tunes and a birthday celebration for Ryan & Jeff!

SATURDAY – BUCK NIGHT @ THE LA CROSSE SPEEDWAY
Incredible action on the track and lots of savings at the concession stand! It’s Buck Night at the Speedway, featuring $2 menu items and $3 beers.
Gates at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway open at 5:15pm and qualifying begins at 5:30pm. Racing starts at 7pm!
This week, you can enjoy Late Models, Sportsmen, Hornets, Street Stocks, Mini Vans and the “Spin to Win” novelty race!
Tickets are super-affordable, with kids under the age of 5 getting in for free, kids 6-11 are just $4, student tickets cost $8, adults over the age of 18 are $16, and seniors get in for only $14. You can buy tickets in advance online. Click here to get yours!

SUNDAY – FARMERS MARKET @ ASHLEY FURNITURE PARKING LOT IN ONALASKA
It’s that time of the year! Chicken Q’s & Farmers markets popping up all over the place, including the parking lot of the Ashley Furniture Homestore in Onalaska this Sunday.
Stop by between 8am – 1pm & shop for flowers, fresh local produce, baked goods, treats & more!
A great way to kick-off your #SundayFunday and maybe pick up that perfect side dish or dessert for your Memorial Day grill out!
