After a sweltering week of heat and humidity, it’s finally going to cool off on Saturday & Sunday. Which is good, because this weekend is our 15th & final Backyard BBQ at our house. We’ve had a great run, but it’s time to say goodbye to this annual shindig!

FRIDAY – THE FREEZERS @ WHISKEY RIVER BAR & GRILL
Kick the weekend off with an ice cold beer, some great food, & some kick-ass tunes from the Freezers!
They’re playing Whiskey River Bar & Grill on Friday night, starting at 8pm. They play all your favorite songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s & 2000’s!

SATURDAY – ALL IN FOR AUTISM POKER RIDE @ ANGRY’S WAY OUT
This Saturday & Sunday, it’s the sixth annual All-In for Autism fundraiser for the La Crosse Area Autism Foundation.
On Saturday, it’s the yearly Poker Ride. Sign up at Angry’s Way Out starts at 10am, with kickstands up at 11am sharp. This year’s stops include the Boondocks Locker Room in Galesville, Uncle Sam’s in Arcadia, the Blair Haus in Blair, Hog Daddy’s Bar & Grill in Ettrick, and then back to Angry’s Way Out, to help support the “15th Annual Rockin’ the Prairie” event that benefits the Brice Prairie Fire Department & EMS.
All makes & models of motorcycles are welcome, along with cars, trucks, & convertibles!

SATURDAY NIGHT – ROCKIN’ THE PRAIRIE @ THE BRICE PRAIRIE EMS
This year’s 15th Annual “Rockin’ The Prairie” event features two great local bands, Last Call & the Spare Parts Project!
They’ll both be on the same stage, switching out every hour for a continuous mix of music for six hours!
There will also be tip boards, a silent auction, raffles, drinks, food from Stumpy’s, & more!
This event raises crucial funds for that help support the Brice Prairie EMS & Rescue.
Gates open at 4:30pm with music starting at 5pm. Tickets are $8 in advance or $12 at the gate. You can buy them online here.

SUNDAY – 6TH ANNUAL FUNDRAISER FOR AUTISM @ THE HOLMEN AMERICAN LEGION
This #SundayFunday, get to the Holmen American Legion for the 2nd day of the All-In-For-Autism fundraiser for the La Crosse Area Autism Foundation.
The party starts at 11am with food, drinks, raffles, a bake sale, a silent auction, music from a DJ, a 50/50 raffle, and more!
